The intimacy of it all
The warmth and life I share
With Jesus and the Father God
The Spirit takes me there.
He ushers me up to the throne
Of His Majesty on High
And there I fellowship with God
And He all my needs supplies.
No time for sadness
Just tears of joy
As His arms enfold me with love
His peace I share, no other love compares
Such love I've never known.
Each time I slip away
I hear Him plainly say
Just what I need to carry me through
The business of the day.
He calls you there
To soothe the aches
To take the cares away,
And this is found in the Arms of Love
In the intimacy of prayer.
